Richard Harrap

Bridlington North

Bridlington born, I have always been passionate about my home town and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

A former travel agent, I was first elected to the East Riding Council in 1999 and have accumulated a wealth of experience in the issues that concern the local community. Over recent years I have been particularly involved with Adult Social Care which is extremely important to our residents, some of whom take on the vital role of a family carer.

I am supportive of the ongoing programme of the regeneration of Bridlington and the economic benefits that come with it but am also very much aware of the need to protect the very special environment of our beautiful heritage coast.

If re-elected I will continue to do my utmost to make sure the residents of Bridlington North Ward get the very best services in this very special place.
